To answer accurately, the Assistant receives your financial summaries and, when relevant, your transaction list (date, amount, category, and any description you entered). Your name, email, or identity is never requested or transmitted — but if you type personal information into free-text fields like account names or transaction descriptions, that text is used to generate the response. Yes. In addition to commands, you can ask questions in natural language. For example: "Where am I overspending this month?", "How should I plan my budget for next month?", "What is my largest expense category?". The Assistant uses your financial data as context to generate a personalised response.

The message thread in the panel only stays on screen for that session. However, the Assistant may permanently save short notes it finds worth remembering about you across sessions (e.g. a preference or a recurring request). These notes are stored in Firestore, linked to your cloud key; you can view them with the /memory command and delete them at any time.

When you first open the app and complete the onboarding screen by tapping "Open SAGI", you are considered to have accepted the current Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. The acceptance date and policy version are stored on your device and, if Cloud Sync is enabled, in Firestore. An in-app notification is shown when the policy is significantly updated.

Enabled from Settings → Cloud Sync. On first use, a 16-digit anonymous key is generated. Enter this key on other devices to sync your data. Keep your key stored somewhere safe — if you uninstall the app or clear browser data, your local copy is removed, but you can reconnect to your Firestore data by re-entering the same key.
